Dave has over 40 years of experience in public service, working hard for the people of this region. No one knows this region of Maine better than Dave, and no one is better prepared to fight for their neighbors in Augusta. As Maine continues to confront the COVID-19 pandemic and its ripple effects, Dave is uniquely qualified to steer Central Maine on its path to recovery.
In addition to his career as a firefighter, Dave is a certified Fire Instructor, Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector, Hazardous Materials Technician and Instructor, and Weapons of Mass Destruction Technician. Dave also oversaw the operations of the Central Maine Emergency Response Team that was subject to respond primarily to HAZMAT calls in Kennebec and Somerset Counties. He also trained with the Maine Army National Guard’s 11th Weapons of Mass Destruction – Civil Support Team based in Waterville. Dave also served on the Central Maine Incident Management Team, a group of Regional First Responders responsible for managing safety and management at the scene of large-scale incidents.
